HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) Filters improve the quality of your air by capturing and removing airborne particles from the air down to 0.3 µm or 0.000012 inches in size.
These Filters utilize a 2-stage filtration process:
- 1. HEPA Filter captures microscopic particles from the air.
- 2. Activated Carbon Filter contains cells filled with loose carbon pellets which, through the process of adsorption, capture ultra-fine particles which would otherwise pass through the HEPA filter.
- This includes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), smoke, odors, and chemical fumes.
We recommend replacing the Filter panels every 6 months to a year, but this can vary greatly depending on the environment and hours of use on the filter.
